Meagan and Jonathon chose the beautiful Columbia Edgewater for their intimate wedding celebrations. It was a perfect day of sunshine, family and friends that come united to support this amazing couple on their special day. Congratulations and thanks for sharing your day with us!

The Jenkins Estate was the location for this great wedding. Kyle and Kristin seriously know how to throw a party. Actually, Kyle and I came up with a plan to keep it going every couple of years. It was decided that in order to have a great party and day like this, Kyle and Kristen would just have an ”Anniversary” party every couple of years. Seriously though, this wedding was a blast. The bridal party were ready to go and they all made it so much fun to capture them. Kristin may come off calm and cool but, uh yeah… Kristin and her girls, they have some dance moves. Congrats to Kyle and Kristin and their new journey together!

Sarah and Jeremy’s wedding setting was one of the most breathtaking ones I’ve seen. Stunning views of the Gorge were everywhere in site. These two awesome to work with, and their family and friends were such a fun group… a groomsman ended the night with an awesome Ice Ice Baby performance!

It was really a great experience photographing Carley and Jamil’s big day. The weather was beautiful, guests were happy and the home where the event was held was gorgeous. Congrats Carley and Jamil!

So…sometimes, no matter how you plan somethings just kind of go sideways, but more on that later. I met Johnny and Vanessa the Thursday before their Engagement Session at Vanessa’s sister’s wedding. That’s right, I’m keeping it in the family. We decided to start at the Multnomah Falls Lodge in the Gorge and move from there. When we got there, it was packed to the gills with tourist. Nothing against tourist because I’ve been known to be one from time to time, but you see me working…don’t ask for me to take your picture and tell me how to do it. It’s just bad taste. Anyways after a couple of shots there we decided to pile into my car and go back on 84 because it looked like something was going on going east. Ok, let’s roll with the punches so off we went. After taking some shots in the glow of the ”Magic Hour”, a term used by photo nerds like me describing the magical light before sunset we made our way back to the lodge where Vanessa and Johnny were parked. We got on 84 and everything was going smoothly then that smoothness turned into something so opposite of smooth that it resemble walking on a floor of broken glass and rusty nails barefooted. I-84 is Closed. What! We were being re-routed to the old highway which for a second didn’t seem so bad. Well, three hours later when we arrived back at their car we reassessed our original observations. Johnny and Vanessa took it in stride though and as a result of that three hour tour we now have some inside jokes including bum ankles, highway cell phones, house squatting and turning left at inappropriate times. I also have a new nick name, ”Money Mike”. Thanks Johnny and Vanessa for making it one of the most memorable Engagement Sessions ever.

Erin and Kevin chose the beautiful Postalwaits for their intimate wedding celebrations. It was a perfect day with an abundance of sunshine, close family and friends from all over Oregon. Thanks again for sharing your special day with us and we can’t wait to hear all about your tropical Caribbean cruise! So jealous!

Patty and Graham chose a perfect Portland day for their wedding at St. Patrick’s Church and Venue Pearl. Patty showered all of her guests with her loving exuberance and Graham’s warmth and kindness never wavered. What a wonderful couple!

What a wonderful time we had at Jamie and Ian’s wedding at McMenamins Edgefield! They had an beautiful, intimate ceremony at the theater and a fun reception with a lot of dancing at the Attic. Have a great time in Cabo San Lucas and see in Las Vegas!

Amanda and Andrew are a great couple. Their friends and family were so much fun. It was a great wedding at Vista Hills Vineyard!

Mount Hood Bed and Breakfast is one of the most beautiful venues in Oregon. Christine and David had a crystal clear view of the mountain during their ceremony. And they were blessed with an incredibly golden sunset.  A picture perfect day.
